PENGARUH METODE MIND MAPPING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF IPA SISWA KELAS V SDN KARAWACI 5 KOTA TANGERANG

Creative thinking for students has been carried out but there are still problems, namely the lack of students' creative thinking abilities, learning methods are less varied, students lack understanding between concepts and students are less active in science learning, while this research aims to find out whether the use of the mind mapping method can affect their abilities. students' creative thinking or not. The research method used is a quantitative research method with an experimental research type. The type of experiment used is Pre-Experimental with a One-Group Pretest Posttest design. The population and sample in this study used saturated sampling where all members of the population were used as samples. Where the population of class V students at SDN Karawaci 5 Tangerang City is 29 students. Data collection techniques using observation, tests and documentation. Prerequisite tests are normality tests and homogeneity tests. Hypothesis testing using T-test calculations using the paired sample t test technique. The results of this research show that the average results of the pretest and posttest are different, showing the influence of the mind mapping method on students' creative thinking abilities. The pretest value before being given treatment using the mind mapping method, the value obtained was 52.9. Meanwhile, the value obtained on the posttest using the mind mapping method was 81.9. In this way, it can be concluded that the mind mapping method has a significant effect on students' science creative thinking abilities after being treated with the mind mapping method.Downloads
