Abstract

The problem in this research is the low learning outcomes of class V students. The problem inthis research is how to use the Pop Up Book learning media to improve the science learning process and outcomes on the water cycle material for class V students of UPTD SD Negeri 111 Barru. This research is classroom action research (PTK) which aims to find out how the use of Pop-Up Book learning media can improve the learning process on water cycle material for class V UPTD students at SD Negeri 111 Barru and whether the use of Pop-Up Book learning media can improve learning outcomes on the water cycle material for class V UPTD students at SD Negeri 111 Barru. The approach used in research is a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used are observation, tests and documentation. The subjects of this research were 11 students and 1 class teacher. The research was carried out in two cycles. In cycle I, the results of research on the learning process and learning test results were at sufficient qualifications (C). Cycle II research results on the learning process and learning test results were in good qualifications (B). The conclusion of this research is that the use of Pop-Up Book learning media can improve the science learning process and outcomes in the water cycle material for class V UPTD students at SD Negeri 111 Barru.
