Abstract

This research aims to review and analyze the literature regarding project-based learning (PjBL) models associated with 21st-century competencies. This research uses a systematic literature review (SLR) with five stages: protocol search, appraisal, synthesis, analysis, and report. Search for article databases using Google Scholar, using a database selection process, using criteria for suitability of theme and year of publication from 2017-2023. The synthesis and analysis process is carried out by paying attention to the contents of the abstract and the article's contents. The SLR results show that the research trend regarding the PjBL model associated with 21st-century competencies is still a topic that is widely studied. In his research, the PjBL model was implemented to improve all 21st-century competencies. Other SLR results show that the PjBL model can have positive implications for all 21st-century competencies, quantitatively by increasing scores and statistical tests and qualitatively by the emergence of indicators in each 21st-century skill
