Abstract

Fine arts learning at school aims to instill student activity and creativity, not just provide the ability to create works of art through artistic creation experiences. One of the independent curricula implemented in elementary schools is the SBDP or Fine Arts theme, an art selection agreed upon by all elementary school teachers in the district/city. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, namely describing the implementation of the Tri N (Niteni, Nirokke, Nambahi) teaching method for mask creation in fine arts lessons to increase student creativity. This research was conducted on grade 1 students at one of the Panembahan Elementary Schools in the Kemantren Kraton City of Yogyakarta with 21 students. The technique used was data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the findings were that at SDN Panembahan Kemantren Kraton, Yogyakarta City, Fine Arts learning had been carried out by applying the Tri N teachings (Niteni, Niroake, Nambahake). The steps taken by the author are analyzing learning outcomes and learning objectives for Fine Arts, analyzing teaching modules, preparing teaching materials, and implementing learning according to the teaching modules that have been prepared. The implementation of Tri N (Niteni, Niroake, Nambahake) in the learning process is carried out with educators, providing creativity in conveying ideas or opinions. This research shows that the Tri N teachings are relevant for use in Fine Arts learning. Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that implementing Tri N (Niteni, Niroake, Nambahake) is effective and can increase student creativity in Fine Arts learning in making mask creations.
