ANALISIS KESULITAN MEMBACA PERMULAAN PADA SISWA KELAS I SDN MAJIR

ABSTRACT This research aims to explore in-depth information regarding initial reading difficulties in class I students at SDN Majir. Reading ability is basic ability that students must have to gain knowledge. Basic reading skills must be acquiring knowledge in the next grade. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques through observation and interview data collection is collected in the form of descriptive notes without interpreting the data. Data recution is carried out by selecting making short notes, classifying data to emphasize it so that conclusion can we drawn. Based on the results of observation and interviews from 21 class I students ata SDN Majir there were 7 children who had difficulty reading at the beginning. It can be seen that the level reading at the beginning. It can be seen that the level of difficulty in beginning reading for class I students at SDN Majir is still quite good with a percentage of 67% of the 21 class I students. There are 7 students who experience difficulty criteria, namely 1) students forget the shape and pronunciation of letters A to Z, 2) low reading experience 3) difficulty in spelling, 4) self-confidence.Downloads
