PERAN GURU DALAM PENANAMAN PERILAKU DISIPLIN PADA PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK MUATAN IPS SISWA KELAS V

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the role of the teacher, and describe supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as describe solutions to overcome obstacles in instilling disciplinary behavior in social studies thematic learning in grade 5 students at SD Negeri 21 Kelapa. The method used is qualitative description. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 21 Kelapa. the principal, class V teacher, and class V students as participants. Testing the validity of the data uses techniques to increase persistence and triangulation. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are that the role of teachers in instilling disciplinary behavior can be seen from the habit of collecting assignments on time but not all on time, carrying out pickets according to schedule, throwing rubbish in its place, and returning cleaning tools after using them. And the supporting factors are the active role of families, especially parents, student awareness, the active role of class teachers and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are family factors, environmental factors and students. The solution to overcome this is to provide guidance, teachers advise students who break the rules, make rules in the class so that students are disciplined. integrating character values into learning, and collaborating between schools and parents in overcoming these problems.
