MINAT PESERTA DIDIK PADA PEMBELAJARAN SENI TARI DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' interest in learning dance at SD Negeri 16 Cimparuh. The method used in this research is descriptive method based on facts in the field. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach, meaning that the data taken is real according to the circumstances. in the form of recorded documents, the results of questions and answers, observations. The results of research conducted at SD Negeri 16 Cimparuh grade 2 totaled 21 students who had an interest in learning the art of dance through Indang dance. Because, (1) this dance is one of the preservation and introduction of culture to students, besides moving it is very easy for students to imitate. (2) The rhythm of the song and the lyrics are easy for students to understand because they use West Sumatran musical instruments. (3) In delivering the material using audio-visual media in the form of video so that it makes it easier for students to understand the material
