About Journal

Pasundan Journal of Mathematics Education (PJME) was founded in collaboration with Pasundan University, Indonesian Mathematics Teachers Association (AGMI) and Indonesian Mathematics Educators Society (I-MES). It presents new ideas and significant developments in mathematics education. It seeks to reflect the diversity of research problems in this field and the various methods used to study them. It deals with didactic, methodological, and pedagogical topics, rather than specific programs for teaching mathematics. Within this range, PJME is open to all research approaches. The emphasis is on high-level articles of more than local or national interest. All submitted manuscripts will be reviewed first by an editor and then evaluated by a minimum of two International Reviewers through a double-blind review process. This process guarantees the quality of manuscripts published in the journal.

Pasundan Journal of Mathematics Education (PJME) is a scientific journal that focuses on mathematics education, published by Pasundan University. The Pasundan Journal of Mathematics Education was first published in print format in 2011. Since 2020 the editorial team has started managing the Infinity Journal online and in open access with the Open-Access Journal System (OJS). PJME began to be published online, allowing wider access for readers and writers. To date, the Pasundan Journal of Mathematics Education has published articles on mathematics education.

The editors have determined the number of pages in one volume to be 200 pages. With this system, we can publish 10-20 articles in one volume (1 year). Based on the Editorial Team's policy, starting Vol 11 Issue 2 (2021), PJME applies a publication fee.

Starting in early 2022, PJME will begin collaborating with the professional association: the Indonesian Mathematics Educators Association (IMES). PJME publications since 2022 will use the template in Indonesian.

In 2023, PJME will receive official accreditation, confirming its reputation as a quality and trusted journal in the field of mathematics education. We are starting to think that indexes and accreditation are important. To raise the level of our journal to international standards, since April 2024 (Volume 14 No 1) we have changed the language used in publishing articles to English.

To improve the quality of articles in the PJME journal, starting with Volume 14 Issue 1 (May 2024), the PJME article template, which previously used the Indonesian language template, has been adjusted to use a new template. The new template can be found on the page (Download here)
