Abstract

The lack of use of interactive media in the mathematics learning process leads to a lack of student involvement in the learning process. So that way the students do not interact actively with the presented material causing a lack of understanding of the material. This certainly has an impact on students’ mathematical literacy skills.To increase students involvement in the learning process, it needs interactive learning media. This study aims to determine the effect of  applying the Interactive Powerpoint and Worksheet on quadrilateral learning towards mathematical literacy skills of VII Class of SMPN 1 Jonggat for the 2022/2023 academic year with a total of 143 students. The sample selection technique use Cluster Random Sampling with a sample of 57 students deviding of two classes. Data collection used the test method with 5 description questions. The instrument in this study were interactive powerpoint, worksheets and test questions. The data analysis technique used is parametric statistic with the result  which indicates there is a difference in the average of mathematical literacy between the the experimental group and the control group. Which is the average of experimental group is higher than the control group. The test result of the effect size obtained the  value of  with high criteria. So it can be concluded that there is a high influence in the use of interactive powerpoint and worksheets on quadrilateral learning on mathematical literacy skills of VII Class of SMPN 1 Jonggat students.
