The background of this research is the low student learning outcomes in thematic learning because students do not understand the learning material well. Students have not been actively involved in learning because there is no discussion activity with the group. This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes through activities carried out by teachers and students before and after using the inquiry learning model. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which was carried out collaboratively with 4 stages, namely class action planning, class action implementation, observation and reflection. The instruments used in this classroom action research were observation sheets, test results and documentation. In this study using quantitative techniques in collecting data.The results of the research that was carried out at the initial pretest showed that 7 students obtained a complete score (36.84%), while 12 students who did not complete it (63.16). At the posttest stage in cycle I, there was an increase in students who got a complete score of 10 students (52.63%) and students who had not completed as many as 9 students (47.37%). At the posttest stage in cycle II it increased to 15 students who completed (78.95%) and who did not complete as many as 4 students (47.37%). From these results it is evident that the application of the inquiry learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the thematic class II SDN Wungu 01.Downloads
