Abstract

This study aims to determine the development process and feasibility of Make a match-based puzzle media on plant body parts. As well as to find out the results of increasing critical thinking in the use of Make a match-based Puzzle media material on plant body parts for students in Class IV Science material at SDN Tlogo 02. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study. The stages of this development model use a 4D model which consists of The 4 stages are: Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate Based on the results and discussion it can be concluded that the puzzle media is selected by adjusting the material and student characteristics The process of making puzzle media is by designing media with a Website Canva. The appearance of this puzzle media was designed using the Canva website. Apart from that, boards and puzzle pieces were also made. The boards and puzzle pieces were made from teak wood. The feasibility of the puzzle media, material for plant body parts, obtained a total percentage of 76%, so it was concluded that the media has eligibility with the appropriate criteria used. The results of the critical thinking ability test show that the N-gain value is 0.36. Based on the conversion guidelines, this value shows the criteria of "moderate" meaning that the media has a moderate influence on improving students' critical thinking skills.
