PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MATERI PECAHAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) BERBANTUAN MEDIA KONKRET PADA SISWA KELAS IV SDN SIDOMUKTI 2 KABUPATEN MAGETAN

This background of this research is the results of observations in class learning, it is found that learning is often dominated by the teacher by giving speech. Teachers only use books and whiteboards as media and the students tend to be passive. In addition, the average score of Mathematics learning outcomes is still low, the data shows that out of 9 students only 1 meets the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) score of 72. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of the Problem Basel Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by concrete media to student learning outcomes Mathematics subject of fractions topic. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This study consisted of two cycles with each cycle containing the stages of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects used were fourth grade students at SDN Sidomukti 2 with a total of 9 students. The results showed that the achievement of learning implementation in cycles I and II had increased. Cycle I which got 89% results increased to 93% in cycle II. While the activity and attitude of students from cycle I to cycle II increased from 86% to 92%. Then student learning outcomes also increased from cycles I and II. The learning outcomes of the first cycle get an average of 72 with a classical absorption of 44% or from 9 students only 4 complete. In cycle II there was a significant increase, namely getting an average of 82 with a classical absorption of 88% or 9 students completing and only 1 incomplete. The conclusion from this study is that the Problem Basel Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by concrete media is effective in improving student learning outcomes in the mathematics subject of fractions topic.Downloads
