PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA MELALUI VIDEO ANIMASI PADA SISWA KELAS IV SDN 2 HADIWARNO

Abstract

This study aims to improve beginning reading skills in class IV SDN 2 Hadiwarno through animated videos. This type of research is Collaborative Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. With class IV research subjects who could not read, there were two children, consisting of 2 boys. The data collection technique in this classroom action research is observation/observation. This data analysis technique is a qualitative and quantitative descriptive technique. This study's results indicate that animated videos can improve reading in class IV students at SDN 2 Hadiwarno. In the first cycle of student learning, completeness reached 50%. Meanwhile, in cycle II, there was an increase in student mastery of 85%. The media used in this study is animated video media that is easily accessible to students. In making this animated video, it is assisted by the Canva application.
