PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN OPEN ENDED SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN INTELEKTUAL SISWA DI SEKOLAH DASAR

The purpose of this study was to analyze the increase in the intellectual mathematical ability of fourth grade elementary school students by applying an open-ended learning approach. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 20 Pahambatan Balingka and involved 20 students as the research sample. Preliminary observations made at SD Negeri 20 Pahambatan Balingka showed that the students' mathematical ability in that class was low. One of the reasons for this low math ability may be due to the use of an inappropriate or ineffective learning approach. In order to answer this question, researchers conducted research using an open-ended learning approach. The data collected in this study includes students' mathematics learning outcomes. The results of the study show that the use of an open-ended learning approach has a positive effect on increasing students' intelligence in mathematics. By using this approach, students in class IV SD Negeri 20 Pahambatan Balingka experienced an increase in their math skills.Downloads
