Abstract

Measuring the perimeter and area of squares, rectangles, and triangles for grade 4 students at SDN Bancong will be the focus of this research, which aims to determine whether or not there is an improvement in student learning outcomes during the 2022/2023 academic year. This procedure uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method, which consists of two cycles. The flow in each cycle is planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted based on the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model. The subjects in this study were grade 4 students of SDN Bancong consisting of 12 students. As data collection methods, student observation was conducted during the learning process, question-based tests were given at the end of the cycle, and documentation of learning activities. Based on the findings of this study, the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model has the potential to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes in each cycle. There was an increase in the cycles that had been carried out. The normal class score of student learning outcomes in cycle I reached 64.83 out of 12 students and only 6 students were not complete. In addition, there was an increase in cycle II, namely only two students who were not complete and the average score of 73.75. The end of this review is that the utilization of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can further develop the science learning outcomes of 4th grade students of SDN Bancong.
