Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence and learning activities of students using the project based learning model on learning outcomes on the theme of the beauty of diversity in my country. The participants involved in this research were class IV of SD Negeri 06 Bagan Dalam, with a total of 36 students participating. The population in this study was class IV selected as a sample with a total of 36 students. The conclusion of this research shows that the project-based learning model does not have a significant influence on student learning outcomes after carrying out the t test. In the initial stage of the research, the students' pretest results showed an overall score of 2205 with an average of 61. After being treated with a project based learning model and a posttest was carried out to measure learning outcomes after treatment, the posttest results showed a significant increase with a score of 2815 and an average 78. The data analysis process using manual calculations shows that there are significant differences between students' pretest and posttest results. The t-test also shows a difference with tcount -10.575 and ttable 2.030, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the project based learning model on student learning outcomes on the theme of the beauty of diversity in my country in class IV SDN 06 Bagan Dalam.
