Abstract

This research aims to identify the learning model that influences students' mathematics learning outcomes. Students at SMKN 1 Madiun have relatively poor mathematics learning results, particularly in Trigonometry, due to suboptimal indicators of the learning process at the school. The diversity of students' prior knowledge is one factor that can affect the effectiveness of the learning process and learning outcomes. Therefore, teachers need to create learning content that responds to the diversity of students' prior knowledge. One learning model that can be used is the Think Pair Share (TPS) model with the Teaching at The Right Level approach. This research is a Classroom Action Research. The research subjects were one class of X TITL 3, consisting of 32 students at SMKN 1 Madiun. The forms of data analysis used include qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The research results show that the average learning outcomes of students in the first and second cycles have met the predetermined success indicators. The achievement level of students' learning outcomes reached 88% with a score ≥ 75. It can be concluded that the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model with the Teaching at The Right Level approach significantly improves students' cognitive learning outcomes.
