PENGARUH APLIKASI WORDWALL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MENULIS PUISI SISWA KELAS VIII SMP UNISMUH MAKASSAR

Fatima. 2024. The Influence of the Wordwall Application on the Learning Outcomes of Writing Poetry for Class VIII Students at Unismuh Mkassar Middle School. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using the Wordwall application on the learning outcomes of writing poetry for Class VIII students at Unismuh Middle School, Makassar. This research was conducted in approximately one month. In this research, one type of nonprobability sampling technique is purposive sampling. Due to the lack of existing population, the researchers carried out random sampling taking into consideration the assessment or analysis. So this research took as subjects 11 students from class VIII Tahfiz. Based on the results of research that researchers have conducted, it can be concluded that the use of the wordwall application in poetry learning has a significant influence on improving the poetry writing skills of class VIII students at Unismuh Middle School, Makassar. The average score obtained for students' learning outcomes before (pretest) they were given treatment using the wordwall application was 57. Meanwhile after (posttest) they were given treatment using the wordwall application, namely 85. Obtained t-test results on the pretest and posttest on the influence of using the wordwall application on writing learning outcomes class VIII poetry at Unismuh Makassar Middle School, namely the value of tcount (6.210) ttable (1.812), so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. In the N-Gain test, it can be analyzed that students' learning outcomes in writing fables using audio-visual media are in the interval g ≥ 0.7, namely the high category of 63%. This shows that the use of the wordwall application has increased the poetry writing ability of class VIII students at Unismuh Makassar Middle School.
