Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning results of students in fine arts education. This study aims to illustrate how student learning results in fine arts education have been enhanced in Class V SDN 47 Koto Tuo Padang by implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) paradigm. This type of study integrates action research in the classroom with quantitative and qualitative methodologies. This experiment was conducted across two cycles of two sessions each. The research subjects were twenty class V students and their professors during the January–June semester of the 2023–2024 academic year. The research findings reveal that the percentage of good qualifications (B) increased from 83.3% in the first cycle of teaching modules to 95.8% in the second cycle. Second, in cycle I, the teacher component of learning yielded an average of 87.5% good credentials (B), which increased to 93.75% very good qualifications (SB). Third, the implementation of the learning aspects of students in cycle I resulted in 87.5% with good credentials (B), which increased to 93.75% with very good qualifications (SB). Fourth, student learning results in cycle I averaged 79 sufficient credentials (C), while cycle II averaged 90,37 very good qualifications (SB). Based on these findings, the Project Based Learning (PjBL) paradigm can increase student learning outcomes in fine arts in class V at SDN 47 Koto Tuo Padang.
