Abstract

Teachers play an important role in the disciplinary efforts of the students in the classroom. The disruption of class discipline is caused by several internal and external factors. Teachers are able to uphold and maintain the discipline of the class in various ways that can be done through orderly system and punishment so that it creates a sense of responsibility of the students. This study aims to understand the role of teachers in tackling disciplinary disorders of pupils. The methods used in this research are descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques used are interviews and observation techniques. The results of this study show that the teacher of SDN Cipinang Cempedak 01 Morning can overcome the disturbance of discipline in his pupils through an internal approach with pupils as well as making agreements in drawing up order and punishment to create discipline and responsibility for pupils.
