PENGARUH MODEL ROLE PLAYING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS IV PADA MATERI KEGIATAN EKONOMI DI SDN 3 GONDANG

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 3 Gondang in social studies subjects, with an average score below the KKM 65, namely 63.3. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of the role playing model on the social studies learning outcomes of class IV students on economic activity material at SDN 3 Gondang. The type of research used is Quasi Experimental Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design type. This research used the entire population from class IV of SDN 3 Gondang, totaling 46 students. The sample in this study was class IV A (23 students) as the experimental class, and class IV B (23 students) as the control class. The data collection technique used was a written test in the form of multiple choice with 20 questions. The research instruments were a multiple choice question test sheet and an observation sheet on the implementation of the learning model. The data analysis techniques used in this research are inferential analysis (normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t test) and descriptive analysis. The research results show that the social studies scores of experimental class students (model role playing) have a posttest average of 75.65. Meanwhile, the posttest average for the control class (cooperative model STAD type) was 66.52. In the Independent Sample t Test, a sig value was obtained. (2-tailed) 0.003 < 0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the use of the Role Playing learning model on the social studies learning outcomes of class IV students on economic activity material at SDN 3 Gondang for the 2023/2024 academic year.
