Abstract

This study explores the application of the Canva-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model to improve Pancasila Education learning outcomes in primary school students. The main objective of this study is to improve students' understanding and problem-solving skills in applying Pancasila principles. The study used the Classroom Action Research method in two cycles involving 14 4th graders. Data collection involves pretes, postes, and observations. The PBL model is implemented using canva as a creative and interactive learning tool, encouraging students to solve real problems related to the application of Pancasila pronsip principles. Results from the first cycle showed an improvement in learning outcomes, with 50% of students achieving satisfactory results. However, adjustments were made for the second cycle, focusing on improving group discussions and collaborative learning. The second cycle showed further improvement, with 78.6% of students achieving good to excellent results. In conclusion, the integration of the PBL model with canva, supported by wordwall evaluation activities, was shown to be effective in improving the understanding and application of Pancasila precept values in students. The use of innovative and interactive learning approaches has a positive impact on the cognitive development of students at the primary school level. This research contributes to the ongoing exploration related of modern and technology-integrated teaching methodologies in primary education.
