PEMBELAJARAN OUTDOORS UNTUK MEMPERKUAT KONEKSI SISWA DENGAN MATERI IPS SD

Abstract

Learning activities are not only carried out in the classroom. However, teachers can develop it into a new innovation where learning activities can be carried out outdoors. The problems with social studies learning are the lack of encouragement from the community regarding the development of social aspects in students, the lack of attention to several environmental issues, and the use of a learning approach using the lecture method concept approach. The purpose of this writing is to analyze outdoor learning to strengthen students' connections with elementary school social studies material. This research method uses literature review research using a qualitative approach. The results of the research on the outdoor learning method are one of the learning methods carried out outdoors, so that the learning system carried out does not only focus on the classroom. The conclusion is that the social studies subject (subject) is one of the subjects given to students since they take elementary education. The aim of implementing social studies learning is to provide students with the ability to work together, think creatively, critically, systematically, analytically and logically. one of the social studies subjects taught to students effectively using the outdoor learning concept. The student connection will increase based on the research results in terms of learning outcomes, motivation and cooperation.
