Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Al-Qur'an Hadith subjects at MTsN 9 Bantul. The research method used in this research is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The research informants in this study were the head of the curriculum, Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers, and students. The qualitative research instrument is the researcher. Test the validity of the data through source triangulation and technical triangulation. Data analysis was carried out through the steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the implementation of this curriculum faces obstacles such as a lack of understanding of learning planning, less than optimal implementation of learning differentiation, lack of understanding of learning evaluation, and inadequate facilities and infrastructure. However, there are supporting factors in implementing the curriculum, such as collaboration between religious teachers, support from the madrasa head, and support from parents. It is recommended to continue implementing the Independent Curriculum guidelines and develop special modules and guidebooks to support teachers and students in the teaching and learning process.
