Etika Publikasi

Jurnal MAHUPAS  (p-ISSN: xxxxxx; e-ISSN: xxxxxxx; http://journal.unpas.ac.id/index.php/mahupas) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Law of Pasundan University. This statement explains the code of ethics of all parties involved in the act of publishing an article in this journal, including writers, editorial leaders, Editorial Board, peer-reviewers and publishers. This statement is based on the Guidelines for Publishing MAHUPAS Journals.

Publication Code of Conduct

The publication of an article in the peer-reviewed MAHUPAS Journal is a reference in the development of a knowledge network. This is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and institutions that support them. The articles in this journal both Research Results Articles, Book Review and Review are a form of scientific method development. Therefore it is considered important to agree on a standard that is expected to be a code of ethics for all parties involved in publishing: writers, journal editors, best partners, publishers and the public.

The Pasundan University Faculty of Law as the publisher of the MAHUPAS Journal carries out duties in all stages of strict publishing and we are aware of the responsibility for the publishing code of ethics. We are committed to ensuring that commercial income obtained from the author does not have an impact or influence on editorial decisions.

Publication Decision

The Editor of the MAHUPAS Journal is responsible for deciding which articles should be published after the article through the review process of the reviewer. Related to this, the researchers, writers and readers must respect the editor's decision in deciding which articles should be published. The editor's decision must be based on the decision of the journal editorial board and also determined whether or not the requirements regarding copyright and plagiarism are met. The editors can also negotiate with the reviewer in making this decision.

Freedom of Work

The editor at any time evaluates the script for their intellectual content regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, or political philosophy of the authors.

Confidentiality

The editor and each editorial staff do not have to disclose any information about the script, the author's identity to the reviewer, and the identity of the reviewer to the author to other parties. Each text is accepted for review and is treated as a confidential document. They may not be displayed or discussed with others except as permitted by the editor.

Reviewers' assignments

Reviewers assist editors in making Editorial Decisions through editorial communication with the author.

Objectivity Standards

Authors may not submit personal criticism regarding the results of the review. Reviewers must express views clearly using supporting arguments.

Source Recognition

Each author must include relevant citation sources in the articles he wrote. Reviewers can advise sources of quotations on published works that have not been quoted by the author. Reviewers can also inform the editor when there are substance similarities or overlapping of the substance in the manuscript that he reviews.

Author's Task

Reporting standards. The original research report must present an accurate report of the work carried out and a description of the purpose of the meaning. Articles must contain enough detail and references to allow others to verify the data. Fictitious or intentionally inaccurate reports are behaviors that violate the publication's code of ethics and are not acceptable.

Originality and Plagiarism

The authors must ensure and make plagiarism-free statements. An author is not allowed to publish the same manuscript in more than one journal or other publication. Submitting the same text for more than one concurrent journal is a behavior that violates the publishing code of ethics and is not acceptable.

Fundamental error in published work

When the author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his / her own published text, it is the author's obligation to immediately notify the journal editor or publisher and work with the editor to withdraw or correct the manuscript.
