Abstract

Learning at SDN Banjarpanjang 1 the teacher uses the lecture method in the learning process, one of which occurs in class IV. Teachers who play an important role in conveying learning material, especially the Javanese script at SDN Banjarpanjang 1, need innovation in using learning models. The Problem Based Learning model will make students focus on solving problems with their group mates by finding solutions from various sources that are obtained and discussed so that it will deepen students' knowledge to be able to understand, read, and write Javanese script. This research uses classroom action research by conducting two cycles with each stage consisting of 4 stages, Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting. Collecting data using observation and performance tests. In the performance test, pre-test and post-test were carried out to find out the increase in student learning outcomes in each cycle. The results of the analysis of the first cycle with the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes in Javanese script material obtained 28.57% pre-test and 42.85% post-test which were considered insufficient. Whereas in cycle II, the percentage of completeness obtained pre-test results of 85.57% and 100% post-test. This means that there is a significant increase in the application of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by the Baamboozle application to improve Javanese script learning outcomes for fourth grade students at SDN Banjarpanjang 1.
