Abstract

This research is titled "Implementation of Cooperative Learning Model Type Team Games Tournament (TGT) in Improving Learning Motivation in Mathematics Subjects, Especially Fractions, at the Elementary School Level II of the Free Curriculum." This research is motivated by the low learning motivation of second-grade students of SDN 02 Manisrejo in Mathematics subjects, especially fractions. Therefore, the aim of this research is to increase the learning motivation of second-grade students. The method used in this research is collaborative classroom action research (PTKK) consisting of 2 cycles of learning. Based on the results of the research in cycles 1 and 2, there was an increase in students' learning motivation. Thus, it can be concluded that implementing learning using the cooperative learning model Type Team Games Tournament (TGT) can increase students' learning motivation.
