Abstract

Based on the results of the observations of researchers with third grade elementary school teachers, it can be concluded that students experience difficulties in understanding flat shape material because the learning media used is less attractive. Furthermore, to solve the problems that occur, new innovations should be created that are tailored to the needs of students so that there are no obstacles in the learning process, especially flat material. The purpose of this study was to produce ABATA products (Applications of Flat Shapes) for third grade elementary school students as learning media. This development research or RnD uses the ADDIE research model. Based on the results of research and development of ABATA learning media products, it can be concluded as follows, on the media aspect it gets a score of 90%, on the material aspect it gets a score of 76%, then on the language aspect it gets a score of 95%. In addition to validating, the researcher also conducted a readability test which was carried out in a limited trial in the form of readability by the teacher getting a score of 90%, while the readability of students got a score of 100%.
