PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP IPA KELAS IV SDN 26 AMPENAN

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model influences the understanding of science concepts for class IV SDN 26 Ampenan. The design of this research is a nonequivalent type eksperimental control group design. The population of this study was all class IV students at SDN 26 Ampenan, totaling 41 students. The sample collection technique uses a saturated sampling technique, namely the sample population consists of 27 students for the experimental class and 27 students for the control class. The prerequisite test results for data analysis for normality tests, homogeneity tests for control and experimental classes are normally and homogeneously distributed. Hypothesis test results data analysis using an independent sample t-test with the help of Spss for Windows with a significance value of 5% of < 0.001 < 0.05 and the results obtained are Thutung > T table, namely 4,990 > 1,684 so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is an influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model on the understanding of science concepts for class IV SDN 26 Ampenan.
