Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of teachers in implementing the independent curriculum. This research is a descriptive qualitative research taking data at SDN Bubulak 1 Tangerang City with the research subjects being grade IV teachers, students and parents of students. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis was collected by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that teachers have an important role in implementing the independent curriculum, and teachers also have an important role in the learning process to achieve the desired learning process.   Keywords: elementary school, independent curriculum, teacher's role
