Abstract

Learning and evaluation are inseparable, especially in the digital age where innovative tools can enhance educational processes. This study investigates the impact of using Wordwall as a digital evaluation tool in Arabic language learning. Motivated by students’ low engagement and anxiety during assessments, this Classroom Action Research (CAR) utilized the Kemmis and McTaggart model, encompassing planning, implementation, observation, and reflection over two cycles. The research employed diverse data collection methods, including interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. Results indicated a significant increase in students' interest in evaluations. Scores improved from 45 in the pre-cycle to 58.75 and 92.08 in the first and second cycles, respectively. Similarly, student performance improved notably; the average scores rose from 60.3 with 37.5% class completeness in the pre-cycle to 72 (53.12% completeness) in the first cycle, and 92.81 (91% completeness) in the second cycle. These improvements confirm that Wordwall is an effective tool for enhancing engagement and outcomes in Arabic language evaluations, successfully meeting the research indicators.
