Abstract

Education in the current modern era is expected to be able to produce quality students who can solve problems and think critically in order to produce superior human resources. One of the factors that can influence children's development is the development of technology and information, but the problems that occur in the field, Problem Solving Skills (KPM) abilities still require special attention and critical thinking patterns are not yet optimal, so the impact is still low, students become less focused in understanding the science learning material. Natural and Social Knowledge (IPAS). Therefore, it is necessary to have articulate storyline 3 based learning media to improve KPM and critical thinking patterns in students. This research aims to develop and determine the feasibility of articulate storyline 3 based learning media in class IV science subjects. The research method used is R&D (Research and Development) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The results of the research show that articulating storyline 3 in improving KPM and critical thinking based on a material expert feasibility test of 88%, then a media expert feasibility test obtained a result of 95%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the media developed is suitable for use in improving KPM and critical thinking in science and science learning at SDK Santa Angela Surabaya.
