Abstract

Learning in the industrial revolution 4.0 students should have level of self-reliance, discipline, responsibility, and the ability of students to actively participate in the learning process, in line with the merdeka curriculum. The merdeka curriculum requires development, knowledge and understanding of academic subjects. One of the subjects on the curriculum in elementary school as an essential substance in learning is natural sciences (IPA). Science learning requires students to develop familiarity, self-confidence, the ability to understand, and its how teacher during the learning process and required to use the proper learning model to achieve the purpose of learning. The research aims to analyze the learning process using an Model PBL model on elementary school science learning. The qualitative research methods used a descriptive approach, which describe the learning process. The research subject used 4b class student of elementary schools of Cikalongsari and Nagasari V Karawang distric. Data collection techniques do observation, interviews, and documentation. Research shows that teachers in the learning process maximal using an model PBL model at science learning in force material, can lead students to critical thinking and problem solving. . In this study, analyzing teacher. The model PBL model facilitates students and teachers learning interactions. Therefore, the process of using model PBL in science learning is feasible and successful to achive purpose learning.
