PEMBELAJARAN IPS DI SD BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL

As time goes by, we are required to be able to answer existing challenges. This research aims to describe the concepts and procedures for social studies learning based on local wisdom values. Apart from that, it also examines the integration of local cultural wisdom values as an effort to improve social studies learning in elementary schools. The research method used is a qualitative research method with the type of library research. The data collection technique used is documentation study with analysis of the contents of documents relevant to the problem study. The data sources in this study are various books and journals. The findings of this research indicate that learning principles that are more environmentally oriented as a learning source are very important to pay attention to in achieving success in social studies learning. The value of local wisdom must be utilized to enrich material sources developed by educators in accordance with the themes that students will study. Several steps that need to be considered regarding procedures for developing social studies learning based on local wisdom are: 1) the process of determining the theme; 2) establish a theme network; 3) analysis and selection of syllabus components; 4) preparation of a thematic learning process design designed by educators with several themes based on relevant basic competencies.Downloads
