Abstract

There are four schools of education, namely classical, personal, technological and interactionist education. These four educational schools or theories have different curriculum models and educational practices. The curriculum model from classical educational theory is called the academic subject curriculum, personal education is called the humanistic curriculum, educational technology is called the technological curriculum and from interactionist education it is called the social reconstruction curriculum. The aim of this research is to find out whether the Al-Khoir Surakarta Islamic Primary School has developed its institutional curriculum based on the existing Islamic Religious Education curriculum model. The research used a descriptive study with data collection through interviews with teachers.
