Abstract

Social studies learning carried out in schools is generally carried out through introduction to social life and society. The results observations carried out at Plampang Elementary School showed that the teachers had used learning model recommended  Ministry Education and Culture. However, there are still some teachers who still use conventional models, including in social studies learning. This PBL lesson can  implemented by applying the Tri-N teachings. The purpose of this writing is to relate to the implementation "Tri N" teachings using the PBL model in social studies learning for fifth grade elementary school. The method used in writing journal is based on qualitative writing using literature review approach at SDN Plampang. The results obtained by PBL model used by first explaining a problem to students. Based on these problems, students will be asked by teacher to solve problems, so that based on this, new knowledge will be formed by students. The conclusion is that the social studies material taught in class V elementary school can be implemented using Tri N which is proven based on research results to show that learning activities can be carried out well and children understand more about learning material carried out meeting.
