Abstract

Character of Pancasila students must be owned by students to face the demands of the 21st century, one of which is the ability to reason critically.  The purpose of this study is to describe the process of applying the problem-based learning model as an effort to strengthen the Pancasila learner profile in the dimension of critical reasoning in science learning at Adisucipto 2 State Elementary School. The subjects of this research were fifth grade students at Adisucipto 2 State Elementary School totaling 22 students. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques of interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the problem-based learning model can strengthen critical reasoning skills in science learning in class V.
