Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the quality of Final Semester Assessment (PAS) question items in Civics subjects. The method used in this research study is quantitative descriptive. The research data used secondary data in the form of 24 polytomus questions in 4 categories and PAS results of 30 grade V T.A 2022/2023 students at the Ma'arif Education Institute NU Sidoarjo. Data analysis is done by empowering Winstep and Iteman 4.3 applications. The results of the analysis using the Winstep application show a validity index if it meets the requirements of the MNSQ outfit, ZSTD Outfit, and Point Measure correlation (PT measure Corr) and a reliability index of 0.83. The characteristics of the question items are shown by the difficulty data of the question items by 54% being in the difficult question category and 46% of the difficulty level of the question items is very easy, the discriminating power is 100%, and 58% of distractors have functioned properly. While the results of data analysis using ITEMAN 4.3 software show that 80% of the difficulty level of the question items is in the medium category, 90% of the question items have good discriminating power, and 90% of distractors have functioned properly. The results of this analysis show that the two results of the analysis using Winstep and Iteman on the Final Semester Assessment (PAS) question items in the PPKn subject show "similarity" and both are included in the good category.
