Abstract

This research explores the transpersonal approach in Islamic primary education as a strategy for cultivating self-awareness and personal growth in children. Islamic primary education plays a crucial role in shaping the character and identity of individuals, and the emphasis on developing self-awareness is considered a vital step in building a balanced and integral generation.The transpersonal approach is applied as a conceptual framework to understand the spiritual and psychological dimensions in the educational process. The research methodology involves content analysis of Islamic education literature, transpersonal psychology, and primary education. Additionally, interviews with educators and practitioners in Islamic education are conducted to gain practical perspectives.The findings indicate that the application of the transpersonal approach in Islamic primary education can serve as a strong foundation for nurturing children's self-awareness. Concepts such as self-transcendence, understanding the meaning of life, and the development of moral values are identified as key factors that can enrich children's educational experiences.This research contributes to the development of a more holistic paradigm for Islamic education, emphasizing the importance of not only cognitive development but also spiritual and emotional aspects. Practical implications of this research include curriculum design focusing on the development of self-awareness, teacher training in implementing transpersonal approaches, and parental support in guiding the personal growth of their children.  Keywords: islamic primary ducation, self awareness, tranpersonal approach
