PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN NUMERASI PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING PADA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA KELAS II DI SDN 238 PALEMBANG

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' numeracy skills in class II mathematics learning using the problem based learning model at SDN 238 Palembang because based on the results of the initial test carried out in class II.A at SDN 238 Palembang it showsthat the numeracy abilities of 69% of the 30 students were in the low category. This research is a type of Collaborative PTK research with the research subjects being class II.A students at SDN 238 Palembang as many as 30 students. This research was carried out in 2 cycles with stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. The analytical techniques used in this research are qualitative and quantitative analysis.The results of this research show that the average value of numeracy ability for class II.A students in mathematics learning from the three indicators of numeracy ability in the pre-cycle reached 31%, then in cycle I it increased to 60% and continued in cycle II reaching 90% . In cycle II, the results of the numeracy ability scores for class II.A students in mathematics learning had met the target for research performance indicators reaching >75%, so the research was stopped in cycle II. These results indicate that the problem based learning model can improve students' numeracy skills in class II mathematics learning at SDN 238 Palembang.
