About the Journal
Triwangsa Hukum is a peer-reviewed legal journal published by Faculty of Law, Universitas Pasundan, committed to publishing contextual and reflective legal scholarship. The name Triwangsa is inspired by a philosophical triad that embodies three fundamental values: Pengkuh Agamana (spiritual integrity), Luhung Elmuna (intellectual excellence), and Jembar Budayana (cultural openness). These values serve as the ethical and epistemological foundation for the journal’s vision of law as a dynamic and socially embedded institution.
Triwangsa Hukum approaches law not merely as a set of normative rules but as a living system shaped by and shaping societal, cultural, political, and economic realities. It provides a scholarly platform for academics, researchers, and legal practitioners to explore how law interacts with its broader context, with an emphasis on critical, progressive, and locally grounded perspectives.
By integrating local wisdom and universal legal principles, Triwangsa Hukum seeks to contribute to the development of a responsive and humanistic legal tradition—one that not only interprets the law but also interrogates its function, impact, and legitimacy in the lived experience of communities.
