MENINGKATKAN MINAT BACA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PBL (PROBLEM BASED LEARNING) DENGAN PEMANFAATAN POJOK BACA KELAS PADA SISWA KELAS VI SDN WONOKERTO KABUPATEN KEDIRI

Abstract

This study aims to increase students' interest in reading in class VI at SDN Wonokerto, Kediri Regency through the application of the PBL learning model by utilizing the class reading corner. The research method used was classroom action research involving 30 students as research participants. Data on students' reading interest was collected using a questionnaire before and after the implementation of the PBL model. In addition, qualitative data was also collected through observation and interviews with students. The results showed that there was an increase in students' interest in reading after implementing the PBL model by utilizing the class reading corner. Data analysis using descriptive analysis and comparison techniques showed a significant increase in students' reading interest. Qualitative findings also indicate that the use of classroom reading corners contributes to increasing students' interest in reading through interesting and interactive learning activities.
