Abstract

This study aims to improve the results of learning mathematics in the material of collecting and presenting data in class V SDN Kedungpanji 2. The type of research used is class action research (CAR) by applying the discovery learning model. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students at SDN Kedungpanji 2, totaling 10 students consisting of 5 male students and 5 female students. The research consisted of cycle I and cycle II. In cycle I, 3 students (30%) obtained complete learning outcomes and in cycle II, 8 students (80%) achieved complete learning outcomes. Therefore, the application of the discovery learning learning model in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes can be said to be successful because the number of students who complete is greater than the number of students who do not complete. Thus, this study can be concluded that by applying the discovery learning learning model can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes.
