Abstract

This research was conducted to increase the activeness and learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 3 Kepanjen Semester II theme 9 by applying the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. This research is a class action research (CAR) of two cycles. Each cycle consists of two sessions, each session consisting of observing action plans, implementing actions, reflecting, and evaluating. The data obtained in this study came from observation, documentation studies, and testing. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive, quantitative, and qualitative. The results showed that the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model was able to increase the activity and learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 3 Kepanjen in the pre-cycle. The percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes was 47%, but increased again by 71% to 88% in cycle I. In cycle II pre-cycle student activity increased from 24% to 59% in cycle I session 2 and 94% in cycle II session 2.
