Abstract

This research is background motivated by problems in the field related to low student learning outcomes and the lack of utilization of learning media, especially audiovisual media.  This study aims to determine the effect of the use of animated video media on learning outcomes in subtema 1 of national events duringthe colonial period. The approach taken was the One-Group Pretest-Posttest experiment at Celep State Elementary School. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students at Celep State elementary School consisting of 29 students. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2022/2023  school year. The results showed that there was an effect of the use of animated video media on the learning outcomes of subtema 1 National events during the colonial period. This can be seen from the N-Gain value, namely 0,66 which can be categorized as moderate. With this it can be concluded that the study had a positive and significant influence on the use of animated media on the learning outcomes of subtema 1 National event During the Colonial Period. The result of this research are expected to provide new knowledge about learning media so that using innovative learning media can improve learning outcomes.
