PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN VIDEO MATA PELAJARAN IPAS KELAS IV SD NEGERI 2 TEGALOMBO

This study aims to enhance students' activity and learning outcomes in the subject of IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Tegalombo using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with video-based instructional media. The research adopts an action research approach consisting of two cycles. Each cycle involves planning, observation, implementation, and reflection. The PBL model is employed to facilitate students in solving real-life problems related to buying and selling activities. Video-based instructional media are utilized as a tool to visually present learning content and support students' understanding. Student activity data and test results are analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. The findings reveal that the use of the PBL model with video-based instructional media significantly enhances students' activity and learning outcomes. Students' activity improves in terms of participation, engagement, and group work. Additionally, there is a significant improvement in students' test scores, with all students achieving the minimum passing grade. This study provides recommendations for teachers and policymakers to implement the PBL model with video-based instructional media in IPAS education to enhance students' activity and learning outcomes.
