Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by the low ability of students to write capital letters. This study is aimed to describe (1) the implementation of "Letter Cards" as a learning media, (2) the improvement of students' writing skills through capital letters skills by applying the learning media "Letter Cards". The approach taken is qualitative and quantitative with the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). The results of the research on the pre-action completeness percentage were 14.28%, the first cycle the completeness percentage was 28.57%, and the second cycle the completeness percentage was 64.28%. It can be concluded that learning to write capital letters through the learning media "Letter Cards" can significantly improve students' skills in writing capital letters in class II narrative texts at SDN 2 Brotonegaran.
