Analisis Kebijakan Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah Republik Indonesia Nomor 3 Tahun 2025 tentang Sistem Penerimaan Murid Baru

This research aims to analyze the policy of the Minister of Education and Culture of Indonesia Number 3 Year 2025 concerning the New Student Admission System. The study investigates the content, objectives, implementation challenges, and implications of the regulation within the context of Indonesian educational reform. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data collection involved document analysis, interviews with stakeholders, and literature review. The findings reveal that the regulation strives to establish a transparent, fair, and efficient student admission process, emphasizing merit-based selection, reduction of nepotism, and promotion of equitable access. However, the implementation faces obstacles such as inadequate infrastructure, limited digital literacy, and regional disparities. The analysis indicates that while the policy aligns with principles of social justice and educational equity, its success depends heavily on infrastructural support, stakeholder engagement, and continuous monitoring. The study concludes that to maximize the policy’s impact, concerted efforts are necessary to address operational challenges and adapt strategies to local contexts. Recommendations include strengthening technological infrastructure, increasing community awareness, and fostering collaboration among educational institutions and government agencies. This research provides valuable insights into the policy's strengths and weaknesses, offering guidance for policymakers to refine and implement the regulation more effectively.Downloads
