This study aims to determine the use of Educaplay media in diagnostic assessment
based on Three-Tier Multiple Choice to reduce elementary school students'
mathematical misconceptions. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental
design was used to compare learning outcomes between the experimental and
control groups. The subjects of the study were 30 fourth-grade elementary school
students who were randomly divided into two groups. The research instruments
were the Three-Tier Multiple Choice test based on Educaplay, student
questionnaires, and observation sheets. The results showed that the use of
Educaplay significantly reduced the level of student misconceptions and increased
conceptual understanding. Educaplay media is considered effective as an
assessment tool that is able to present questions in an interesting and reflective
manner for students.
