OPTIMALISASI MANPOWER PLANNING DALAM PERENCANAAN STRATEGIS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI LULUSAN

This research aims to optimize manpower planning in strategic planning at SMKN 1 Karimunjawa to improve the competence of graduates who are ready to compete in the job market, especially in the hospitality, fisheries, seaweed agribusiness, and tourism sectors. Using qualitative research methods and literature studies, this study analyzes the challenges faced by SMKN 1 Karimunjawa in matching the competencies of graduates with industry needs. Some of the problems found include the misalignment between the skills possessed by vocational school graduates and those needed by industry, the limited quality internship program, and the difficulty in establishing close cooperation with the business world and the industrial world (DUDI). The study also provides recommendations to strengthen cooperation with industry, update the curriculum to be more relevant to market needs, and improve the quality of training for teachers and support staff.
